These Type 1 ACME valves are intended for DOT cylinders up to 40 pounds propane capacity (96 pound water capacity). This valve has a vapor service outlet, relief valve. fixed liquid level gauge, and an overfill prevention device (OPD).
- CGA-791 (1-5/16" ACME) outlet
- 3/4" M-NPT inlet
- 375 psig vapor relief valve
NOTE: Valve may be physically different than the valve pictured..
WARNING: Cylinder valves should only be replaced by individuals that have been properly trained to repair DOT cylinders. All pressure MUST be removed from the cylinder before the old valve is removed. When selecting the proper replacement valve you must choose a valve that has a dip tube (DT) that matches (or is longer) the DT number stamped on the cylinder head or neck ring. NEVER install a valve that has a dip tube shorter than the DT number stamped on the cylinder head or neck ring.
